<p>Dr. Olayinka Kareem is a citizen of Nigeria. He has been an AGRODEP member since October 2010. At present, Olayinka is a Coordinator for the Trade and Development Policy Research Network, Nigeria, and a Guest Researcher at the University of Marburg, Germany. He was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute, Italy. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, an M.A. in Economics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is specialized in Applied Econometrics. His research interests include international trade, trade policy, regional integration and development.</p>

Dr. Olayinka Kareem recently completed AGRODEP Working Paper 0009 with funding from the 2011 Innovative Research grant. He is a citizen of Nigeria and has been an AGRODEP member since October 2010. At present, Olayinka is a Global South Scholar at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. In this position, Olayinka conducts research on non - tariff measures and their effects on exports of relevance to Africa. Before joining Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Olayinka worked for The World Bank as a Consultant. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, an M.A. in Economics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria..
