AGRODEP would like to congratulate Fatimata Dia Sow, who has recently been appointed to the post of Commissioner for Social Affairs and Gender in the Economic Community of the States of West Africa (ECOWAS). Dr. Sow specializes in economics and gender issues and will be the replacement for Mrs. Adrienne Diop. She worked previously at the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) as a specialist in economics and agriculture.
New members were selected by a jury of six Foreign Ministers and the President of the ECOWAS Commission during a competitive interview and selection process. Read a full press release containing the list of new members.
