AGRODEP would like to congratulate Dr. Abdoulaye Seck on his participation in the IFPRI Technical Dialogue, "Supporting the AU Malabo Declaration on Accelerated Growth & Transformation," held on October 1, 2014 at IFPRI headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The dialogue was moderated by Ousmane Badiane (IFPRI) while leading researchers Thomas Jayne (Michigan State University), Dave Tschirley (Michigan State University), and Xinshen Diao (IFPRI) discussed African agricultural growth and potential challenges that may be encountered while progressing toward the goals laid out at the 2014 AU Malabo Summit. A panel of African experts, which included Abdoulaye Seck, Aboubakar Njoya of CORAF/WECARD, and Moses Osiru of RUFORUM, provided insightful comments and critiques on the presented scenarios.
