JOB OPENING: FOR CONDUCTING A SCOPING STUDY TOWARDS ASSESSING THE PROGRAMME PORTFOLIO OF UNICEF’S WORK ON CHILD BUDGETING IN WEST AND CENTRAL AFRICA

International Senior Consultant (L4/5)
Advanced degree, Masters or PhD, in a relevant subject area (Economics, Finance, Public Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Social Policy and Planning or related field)
At least 12-15 years progressively responsible experience including evaluative and analytical work at an organization or interagency level for an organization comparable to UNICEF
Knowledge of current evaluative and analytical literature on public finance
Exposure to UNICEF’s work
Excellent English and French speaking and writing skills
Excellent and proven research skills including development and application of analytical frameworks and tools and production of analytical papers
Excellent interviewing capacity
Excellent facilitation skills
