The AGRODEP team would like to offer its congratulations to Dr. Oluwole Akinnagbe, who recently received two awards from the International Conference on Extension Educational Strategies for Sustainable Agricultural Development in Bangalore, India. Oluwole was given the the Young Extension Professional Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of extension teaching, research, and field extension services. This award is jointly organized by the International Society of Extension Education, Nagpur, India and the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India. He also received the Best Paper Presentation Award for his presentation on "Impact Evaluation of Cocoa Resuscitation Programmes on Cocoa Production and Socio-economic Life of the Cocoa Farmers in South West Nigeria."
Oluwole received an AGRODEP Research Valorization grant to attend this conference.
