Youssouf Kone has been an AGRODEP member since April 2011. Kone is currently a Regional Integration Coordinator for the African Development Bank. He was previously a Trade Policy Analyst at the Commonwealth Secretariat "Hub and Spokes" project, posted within the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism in Burundi. Before joining the Commonwealth Secretariat "Hub and Spokes" project, Kone worked for UNDP Cote d'Ivoire, the World Bank Institute, and University of Bouake. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Bouake. His research interests include agricultural policies, international trade policies, economic analysis of poverty, economic development, CGE models, trade and environment, climate changes, West and East Africa.
