Prof. Daniel Sakyi is a citizen of Ghana. He has been an AGRODEP member since July 2015. At present, Daniel is an Associate Professor at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and a Volkswagen Foundation Fellow. In these positions, Daniel teaches and conducts research. He holds a BA from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, an MA from University of Antwerp, and a PhD in Economics from University of Pisa. He is specialized in Macroeconomics, Development Economics, International Trade and Finance, and Regional Integration. Daniel has benefited from research grants from a number of international organizations including the Volkswagen Foundation, the African Capacity Building Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and Hewlett Foundation, and the International Growth Centre (UK).
