Dr. Bernard Kiplimo is a citizen of Kenya. He has been an AGRODEP member since July 2015. Dr. Kiplimo is a Development Economist with over 10 years experience in consultancy, research and training in both public and private sectors. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business and Economics, Moi University. He has engaged on a wide variety of rural and urban development related projects at various scales in Africa; including agricultural and agribusiness strategic planning.He has experience in research designs, econometric modelling and data analysis. His areas of interest are heavily focused value chain development, concept and practice of rural-urban governance, the management of change in rural and urban areas. He is currently involved in research designs and data analysis in an EU 7th Framework project; Biowaste4SP being implemented in 5 countries in Africa. He has previously undertaken several consultancy assignments involving study designs and data analysis for USAID, European Union (EU), AU, GoK, NGOs and other private companies in Africa.
