AGRODEP's Country Profile pages contain a wealth of resources for users, including country descriptions, links to relevant models and datasets, listings of national organizations and institutions, and links to external resources. Now an additional external resource gives users an up-to-date look at each country's economic situation and outlook.
African Economic Outlook provides a detailed report for each country compiled using data from the African Development Bank, the OECD Development Centre, the United Nation Economics Commission for Africa, and other research centers throughout Africa. The individual country reports begin with an overview of the country's current economic situation and then delve into important indicators such as fiscal policy, the private sector, employment, and human resources.
To view the Country Profiles, select a country from the map on the AGRODEP homepage and click on the link to that country’s page at the bottom of the map. Each country's African Economic Outlook report can be found under the External Links listed on the right-hand side of the country profile.
