Olumuyiwa B. Alaba is a citizen of Nigeria. He has been an AGRODEP member since April 2011. At present, Alaba  is a Senior Lecturer at the Lead City University, lbadan, Nigeria. In this position, Alaba teaches and conducts research in economics, specifically on trade, macroeconomics and development. Before joining Lead City University, Alaba worked for Trade Policy Research and Training Programme in Nigeria,  the African Technology Policy Studies Network in Nairobi, and EU-ACP PMU in Brussels. He received his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His research interests include trade, climate change, food security, and development.
