Call for papers on Agricultural Value Chain Finance - CTA

Amongst other intervention areas, CTA works in support of smallholder-inclusive agricultural value chain finance. In order to improve the understanding of the scope of techniques that can be used to successfully structure agricultural value chain financing for smallholders, CTA invites specialists in the specific areas described below to submit their proposals for the drafting of overview papers.

Services to be provided

The tenderer is to deliver a paper on any of the four subjects described below:

Report 1: Best practices and opportunities in mobile applications for enhancing agri-value chain finance,
Report 2: Smallholder-inclusive finance for non-traditional value chains,
Report 3: value chain finance for climate change resilience,
Report 4: global best practices in Central Bank support programmes for agricultural value chain finance (including warehouse receipt finance).

Funding for individual papers is up to a maximum of €50,000 

Language: Applications must be submitted in either French or English.

Deadline: Tenders must arrive at the latest by 6 February 2015.

Participation in this call is open equally to any natural and legal person from the ACP States and the Member States of the European Union contributing to the EDF; from official EU candidate countries and member States of the European Economic Area; from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) according to OECD/DAC; from any other country covered by a European Commission decision establishing reciprocal access to external aid – as the region covered by this proposal includes LDCs, this includes all OECD/DAC members; and to international organizations wherever they have their seat.
