Some research efforts have been made to elucidate factors responsible for the poor economic development in Africa. Nonetheless, what is yet to be unravelled is the frantic processes of building viable institutions in Africa that will serve as the fulcrum for utilizing and managing Africa’s resources as well as promoting economic growth that is inclusive and sustainable. This is one of the objectives of this edited book. Therefore, it aims a spurring debate amongst scholars, policy-makers, researchers and development agencies thereby provide actionable solutions for Africa’s developmental challenges particularly with respect to sustainable and inclusive economic growth paradigm.
This edited book seeks strategies for building resilient institutional framework for sustainable resource management, sustainable development and inclusive growth. It anticipates extending the frontiers of knowledge by soliciting quality contributions from academics and practitioners that highlight and address the above issues with relevant and actionable recommendations.

Thus, empirical and theoretical papers that provide new insights into the building of viable institutions for sustainable resource management in Africa’s sustainable development and inclusive development process are welcome. The proposed titles should be tailored within the following sub-themes (but not limited to):
i. Effective and inclusive institutions (e.g. Civil Societies, developmental advocacy against corruption, promoting ease of doing business, the role of informal and religion institutions);
ii. Accessible and quality education (promoting educational outcomes; promotion of education innovation; reducing barriers to educational advancement);
iii. Knowledge economy management (e-Health, e-Agriculture & food security, e-Commerce);
iv. Financial development in Africa (Financial flows, expansion of both traditional and new forms of financial services e.g. Mobile money; migrant remittances);
v. Biodiversity, Natural resources and Conservation (protection of natural environment and its inhabitants, aquatic or terrestrial biota; energy provision and access, land access and usage);
vi. Sustainable Development and Climate Change (the reality of climate change, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, climate change and technology, carbon emissions, infrastructure and industrialisation); and
vii. Agriculture for Development (agriculture and sustainable food systems; agricultural employment and development; small holder farmers; rural and non-farm economy).

Submission guidelines:
Interested researchers should submit before January 11, 2020, chapter proposal between 950 to 1,950 words clearly explaining the objectives and focus proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by January 25, 2020 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are due by May 10, 2020, and all authors should consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Also, contributors may be requested to serve as reviewers.
