Call for applications: online course on land grabbing and responses to it

AGTER and the International Land Coalition invite members of civil society and farmers’ organizations, development professionals, researchers, journalists, students and all those interested to participate in an online course to analyze the phenomenon of land grabbing around the world, understand its nature and work together to build responses to the threat it poses to us all.

 
The next course (in French) will be held from April 27 to May 26, 2020!

PREREQUISITES

  • Be able to devote 10 hours per week to the course.
  • Have access to a stable internet connection and the possibility to receive and send documents in .doc and .pdf format as well as comments and questions by email.

TRAINING MODALITIES
The course is entirely online, on AGTER's educational platform Moodle, and is delivered over a period of one month. It consists of 3 modules of one week each devoted respectively to understanding, analysing and responding to land grabbing. One week will also be devoted to the finalisation of written case studies.
 
APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION
Partial or full scholarships are available to members of civil society organizations in the South, members of farmers' organizations and students. Visit the page below for more details and send your application no later than March 29, 2020.
