AGRODEP is pleased to announce its sixth round of membership extension. For this particular call, we strongly encourage applications from researchers who are engaged in or are strongly interested in learning more about impact evaluation or value chain analysis. We also strongly encourage women to apply. To be considered for membership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be a citizen of an African country

Must be based in Africa

Must have obtained a Ph.D. within the last 15 years, currently be pursuing a Ph.D. degree, or possess a Master’s degree in combination with technical skills and experience.
Other factors considered in the selection process are the level and nature of applicants’ technical skills as well as publications.
Currently, AGRODEP brings together 144 researchers from 26 different countries of Africa. The Consortium provides its members with free access to cutting-edge economic research tools, data, and training as well as opportunities to apply for competitive research grants. In addition, AGRODEP members become part of a large network of researchers and experts from Africa and beyond.
You can apply online by completing either the English version or the French version of the application form online. If you prefer, you can also download the English version or the French version of the application form in Microsoft Word format and email it to info-agrodep@agrodep.org. You will need to enter dates of previous employment and education as well as details of items such as publications, so be sure to have these on hand before you start the application.
Please complete and return the application form by March 20, 2015. AGRODEP will review your application and notify you about the decision by April 15, 2015
